Sternenbrücke is a children’s hospice that offers seriously ill kids, young adults, and their families a place of comfort and care. Our goal was to shape a visual language that feels warm and welcoming while encouraging people to support and get involved. We focused on empathy in every design choice, letting colors, typography, and imagery reflect trust and connection. We drew inspiration from the rainbow logo to highlight diversity, community, and hope. And we made sure the site is truly welcoming for everyone, with accessible navigation and a clear focus on donations and ways to get involved, because every bit of support matters.
The kids were always at the centre of our work
We provided the hospice a sheet with all of the icons we would be needing on the website and asked the kids to draw them. The outcome was a set of fun, lively, sweet and authentic icons that we implemented wherever we could; a perfect visualisation of the joy and creativity that every person involved in the hospice radiates.
